The children were then asked to “lend a hand” and paint a Chair for “Chair”ity.  The chairs will be displayed at our Red Lodge, Laurel, Columbus, Billings 24^th Street, and Billings West End locations.

Minimum bid starts at $25. The highest bid amount wins.  In the event of a tie, a random drawing will be held.  The winners will be determined on July 8, 2013.  All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

Jess McAllister has been in the financial industry for 13 years and has an extensive lending background. He has been with Altana for 8 years and recently relocated to Altana’s office at 1111 24^th Street W. as the Branch Manager.

Monna Rae Adickes has 30 years of experience in the mortgage lending and real estate professions.  She has been with Altana for 12 years and is the Branch Manager at the Laurel office, located at 220 1^st Avenue.

Rita Schuetzle

Rita Schuetzle has been with the credit union for 6 years, starting her career in sales and marketing and is now the Branch Manager at Altana’s downtown office, located at 219 N. 25^th Street.

Only 800 tickets will be sold.  Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at any Altana location.  The drawing will be held by July 13, 2013.  All proceeds benefit Relay for Life.

Altana will then share a portion of the savings with five local charities. Participants of the challenge have the opportunity to vote for their favorite charity. The charity with the most votes will receive $5,000.  The second place charity will receive $2,500, third place will receive $1,500, and the final two charities will receive $1,000 each.

The charities are:

• Angel Fund through SD2 – Provides immediate assistance, from bus passes to clothing to class fees to school supplies to food for needy middle and high school students.
• Big Brother Big Sisters of Yellowstone County – provide mentoring relationships for kids by matching them with adults or high school students for fun and friendship.
• Boys & Girls Club of Yellowstone County  – offers an engaging environment where kids can become responsible for their future, gain academic success and make positive contributions to their community.
• Optimists Special Children’s Camp – is a week-long recreational summer camp for children with developmental disabilities from ages 8-21.
• Special K Ranch – is a place where people who have developmental disabilities live, learn, and work with loving and caring advisers.
