With the help of a local radio station and their morning talk show hosts “the Breakfast Flakes”, Altana employees were able to put Thanksgiving dinner on the tables of 132 families in the local community.
The Breakfast Flakes started “Flakesgiving” a number of years ago. They spend the week before Thanksgiving asking for donations from local individuals and businesses to help provide Thanksgiving Day dinner for those in the community that need the help. They provide 1500 meals and each meal feeds between 5 to 7 people. There are no qualifications or forms of any kind for people to get a meal. They deliver to those who can’t travel and also provide meals to places like the Women’s Shelter and the Food Bank.
Altana is proud to participate in such a worthy cause and help those in need right here in our own community.
