What is the easiest way to transfer my checking from another financial institution to Altana FCU?

We are happy to hear you want to switch your checking to us! After you have established your account with Altana, please contact us for help moving all of your account information.

How much does it cost to stop a payment on a check?

The fee to stop payment on a check is $25. You may place a stop payment on a check in two ways. You may either call the credit union and speak with a Support Center Specialist or you may visit your nearest Altana location.

How much is a box of checks?

The price of a box of checks ranges from around $15 to $25, depending on the style and type of check you are ordering. We also offer several accessories options to choose from such as checkbook covers, address labels, and personal organizers.

How do I access online banking?

You can sign up and log in to Online Banking right from our website. If you don’t have an Altana Online ID yet, please use your account number.

How to Qualify

Qualifying for xtra cash and bonuses is easy!

Enrollments must be in place and all of the following transactions and activities must post and settle to your checking account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:

At least 10 debit card purchases (must post and settle)
Be enrolled in and log into online banking (mobile too!) at least once a month
At least 1 bill pay or automatic payment transaction

That’s it! Even if you don’t qualify one month, your account is still free — and you can get right back to earning xtras the very next month.

If a protected life event happens to you (and you’re a protected borrower or co-borrower on the loan), Altana Federal Credit Union will cancel or reduce repayment of your loan debt – helping to lessen your worries, and your family’s worries, about paying loans during a time when your income may be reduced or lost and paying other household bills becomes challenging. Protected events include:
