As we celebrate Altana’s 75th anniversary, we express our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteer board of directors. Their dedication and commitment have been instrumental in shaping our credit union into what it is today. We’re excited to introduce you to each volunteer board member to mark this special milestone. Meet Jeremy Jensen!
Where did you grow up, and what was your favorite part?
I was raised on the Hi-Line in Havre, MT. I loved enjoying outdoor activities with my friends and family.
Where did you go to college, and did you participate in any sports?
I graduated from MSU-Northern in Havre as a men’s golf team member.
How long have you been a credit union member?
Thanks to my parents, I’ve been a credit union member since I was four years old!
What is your current job?
I am a financial advisor with L.P.L. Financial and am part of Northern View Wealth Management.
Do you remember your first investment?
Yes! My first investment was $150 in a Science & Technology mutual fund.
How long have you served on the board, and how has it impacted you?
I’ve served on the board for six years. Being a board member has strengthened my relationship with the Havre community by allowing me to partner with the local credit union members to address their needs and concerns.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
You can find me on the golf course, camping in the Bearpaws, or spending time with my two children and wife, Kristina.
What’s the best piece of life advice you’d give your children?
To try their best at everything they commit to.
